Christmas is coming soon and we will be wonder what type of gifts you would want to buy for your friends. One of my associates said, “Would gas gift cards make a good Christmas gift?”. Well, that set me to thinking…
Gas gift cards can be a nice idea. You see:
- It’s 100% usable (Unlike receiving gifts like vase or picture frame)
- It’s easier to pack
- Almost everyone uses this
In fact, it’s like giving away cash in the form of a “pre-paid” card. So would it be a good idea as a Christmas gift?
Personally, I don’t think it is a good choice. It’s just my personal preference. Think of it: If you are the receiver of a Christmas gift and you found that it’s a gas card, what will you be thinking?
I believe in my mantra: “Do to others what you want others to do to you”. If you believe that it is a good idea, I encourage you to find out more about buying some nice gas gift cards. eBay might have some good Christmas-theme gas cards.
